Why I begin here

I know what it is to have a dream before you have a map.

I once thought the dream was simply to become a mechanical engineer. As I paid attention, served, learned and took the next honest steps, that dream was refined into a calling to build leaders and institutions.

Dreams to Reality came from that season. Lead from the Heart did not appear fully formed; it travelled through the same process of dreaming, testing, discipline and clarification. So this page is not asking you to have everything figured out. It is helping you begin.

Why this matters to me

I remember the beginning.

Dreams to Reality began in a season when I was trying to understand my own purpose and make sense of the dreams I carried. One of those dreams eventually became Lead from the Heart.

I return to this material because it was not written from the other side of certainty. It was written from inside the journey—from dreaming, surrendering, waiting, being formed and learning that a dream may be important without being the whole of your destiny.

Your dream may be a pointer towards a purpose larger than the dream itself.
A simple place to begin

Notice. Name. Examine. Discern. Begin.

Purpose is not manufactured through pressure. It is uncovered through attention, honesty, relationship and faithful action.

01

Notice

What repeatedly draws your attention, concern or imagination?

02

Name

What future, contribution or change do you find yourself desiring?

03

Examine

What experiences, voices and relationships may have shaped that desire?

04

Discern

What good beyond your own success might this dream be pointing towards?

05

Begin

What is the next faithful step available now—not the entire plan?

Begin with your actual question

What do you need help with now?

Choose one question. You do not need to complete the whole library or solve your entire life today.

I am not sure where to begin

Help me identify the kind of clarity I need.

Answer five private questions and find whether your next useful stage is to explore, discern, test, build or realign.

01
I need to explore

What am I carrying?

Notice recurring desires, experiences, abilities and the people or problems that hold your concern.

02
I need to discern

I have many dreams. How do I choose?

Separate interests, gifts, burdens, opportunities and expectations, then choose one direction to test.

03
I need career direction

How does purpose connect to career?

Connect your abilities and concerns to realistic career possibilities without making a job title your identity.

04
I need to build

Why do my goals keep slipping?

Understand the real obstruction, remove shame and rebuild one goal at a size your present life can carry.

05
I need to realign

Have I drifted—or has the assignment changed?

Distinguish difficulty, formation, drift and transition before deciding what needs to remain or change.

The foundational book

Dreams to Reality (revised edition, 2026)

This is an explicitly Christian book about the source of dreams, the process of surrender and formation, and the seasons through which a vision moves from conception towards fulfilment.

It does not tell you to pursue every dream. It helps you ask where a dream came from, what larger purpose it may serve, and who you must become through the process.

When clarity begins to form

The next question is not only what you will build, but who you must become.
