01 · Monthly reflection

Calling & Stewardship Monthly Review

A monthly pause for noticing what is becoming clearer, what is becoming costly and what deserves renewed attention.

Review the month

  1. What did this month reveal about the season I am in?
  2. Where did I experience grace, fruit or unusual clarity?
  3. What repeatedly drained energy without producing meaningful fruit?
  4. Which responsibility received too much of me? Which received too little?
  5. What did I learn about the people I am called to serve?
  6. What am I being invited to continue, stop, simplify or begin?

Choose one faithful focus

During the next month, I will give deliberate attention to:

02 · Sustainable leadership

Leadership Heartbeat Weekly Review

A short review for leaders who want to notice whether their weekly rhythm is supporting or quietly undermining the responsibility they carry.

Look back

  1. Daily Pulse: What practices helped me begin or end my days with clarity?
  2. Weekly Wave: Where did I create space to reflect, replenish and reconnect?
  3. People: Who received my best attention? Who received only what remained?
  4. Pressure: What did I carry alone that could have been shared?
  5. Purpose: Which activity most clearly served what matters?

Plan the next week

  • One rhythm to protect:
  • One conversation to have:
  • One responsibility to share:
  • One thing to decline:
03 · Whole-life rhythm

Personal Rule of Life Worksheet

A rule of life is not a rigid schedule. It is a simple structure that helps your actual life remain aligned with your deepest commitments.

Name what you are protecting

  1. What kind of person do I want my present responsibilities to form me into?
  2. Which relationships must not be sacrificed to visible work?
  3. What helps me remain spiritually, emotionally and physically present?
  4. What boundaries protect my capacity to love and serve well?

Design four rhythms

  • Daily: one practice of presence, reflection or prayer.
  • Weekly: one protected period for rest and review.
  • Monthly or quarterly: one longer recalibration.
  • Annually: one extended pause for renewal and direction.
04 · Shared responsibility

Leadership Delegation Audit

Use this when too much work, knowledge or decision-making depends on your constant presence.

List what stops when you stop

  1. Which recurring tasks require my direct intervention?
  2. Which decisions can only be made by me?
  3. What knowledge exists mainly in my memory?
  4. Who is capable of carrying more but has not yet been trusted?
  5. What am I holding because it is genuinely mine—and what am I holding because releasing it feels uncomfortable?

Choose one transfer

  • Responsibility to share:
  • Person to develop:
  • Knowledge or process to document:
  • Authority that must accompany the responsibility:
  • Date for review:

Family Stewardship Review

A monthly conversation for couples and families who want calling, work and ministry to grow without diminishing life at home.

Begin with gratitude

  1. Where did we experience joy, support or connection this month?
  2. What did someone in this family carry especially well?

Tell the truth gently

  1. Where has work, ministry or pressure made us less present to one another?
  2. Who in the family may be receiving what remains rather than our deliberate attention?
  3. What conversation, apology or repair is needed?
  4. What support does each person need in the coming month?

Make one shared commitment

During the next month, our family will protect:

06 · Books in conversation

Reading & Discussion Guides

These questions can be used with Dreams to Reality, Marketplace Shift or any writing in this library.

Before reading

  1. What question or tension am I bringing to this book?
  2. What would make this reading practically useful?

During reading

  1. Which idea names something I have experienced but not articulated?
  2. Where do I feel resistance, conviction or relief?
  3. What assumption is being challenged?
  4. Which story or principle should be discussed with someone else?

After reading

  1. What should I see differently?
  2. What should I practise differently?
  3. What conversation should follow?
  4. What one action will I take within seven days?

A useful tool should not merely describe the work. It should help someone take the next faithful step.
